Here’s a recent poster I did for Lunchmeat Magazine. It’s the first issue cover that I originally designed a few years ago. I also did the cover for issue #2 and still help with layout from time to time.

The figures were all hand drawn. The background and color was done in Photoshop.

This is the vinyl LP box of the Disembowelment discography released in 2006. As I am a big fan of the band it was an honor to handle the design on this project.

I took the 35 mm photos used in this poster design (above) myself.

Aside from the obvious stylistic similarities to Jeff Walker’s work you may notice that there’s a direct nod to the Napalm Death “Scum” album in my artwork.

It was an absolute honor to get to do this illustration as I’m a big Nasum fan. It’ll probably be the last time I ever do a hand stippled ink illustration because the crushing amount of time involved.

In 2008 I did three original illustrations for the Körperwelten “Avatars of Rape and Rage” CD. This project is a collaboration between Lee (ex-Navicon Torture Tech / current Love is Nothing) and Henrik (Nordvargr). If you want to see everything you’ll need to buy the album. It’s limited to 1000 but still available from Malignant Records.

Back when I was in High School I got my start doing ink illustrations for bands under the pseudonym Viris (pronounced virus). I was heavily influenced by the art of Pushead and Jeff Walker from Carcass (who did the art for Napalm Death “Scum” and the original Axegrinder LP). This was one I did in 1990 for the Chicago hardcore band Impulse Manslaughter. It was released as the “Sometimes” 7″ EP on the German label Mind Control Records in 1992. I also did a T-Shirt design for the same band that I will have to dig up. I have other illustrations in this style I will share eventually as well. Doing art like this took HOURS of work so I stopped doing it in the early 90′s.

I ended up coming back to this style a few years back to do the illustration for the Nasum side of their split w/ Napalm Death (you can see that here). Don’t ask me to do this kind of art unless you are ready to spend a lot of money (ha ha). I only did the extra work for Nasum because I love that band.

I released my soundtrack to the the independent horror feature “The Mind” recently. I designed the artwork as well (naturally).
